I have lived most of my life in the Brecon Beacons National Park and I feel that my art is influenced by the scenery that surrounds me. I love being outdoors and try to express this in my paintings.
I am a self-taught artist who has have always loved colour. I weave, crochet and paint and have tried most media but always come back to oils. At the moment I am mostly using palette knife.

My husband said that the painting looked like snow on the mountains and so it was named. I like the russets and yellows and maybe there's a stream in the foreground.
